It's for all people who wants to use advantage that 64 bits processor gives. Tiny Core Linux was designed to support  as much as possible, all desktop hardware.

i found some of broadcom's utilities / drivers stopped support for x32 / were totally broken... sometimes even just redirecting to x64 versions.
so i had to make the switch to corepure64 for my stuff.

so... someone uses it :P

sas3.5mpt drivers might not fully work on x32, and id suspect sas4mpt wont as well... whenever that becomes a thing
