I think it would be better to remove your 30-modeset.conf before you try again.

vc4-kms-dsi-generic requires vc4-kms-v3d

juanito.....vc4-kms-v3d-pi5 is done automatically since piCore 15 (I had previously been missing 2 files in the overlay directory that handles loading the correct variant.  hat_map.dtb and overlay_map.dtb)

Seems to be a MESA24 problem.
