Net Boot Fails (TC Terminal Server)
« on: August 19, 2009, 06:50:42 PM »
I am trying to set up a net boot (TC Terminal Server) but the client connects, gets an address and then errors out:
No filename
FATAL: Could not read from the boot medium! System halted.

Any ideas!?

Your dhcp server defines the tftp server and boot file ( pxelinux.0 ).
The exact configuration option depends on the dhcp server you are using.

I am using the built in "TC Terminal Server" from the apps menu.

so it's whatever dhcp server that uses.

Is it using the correct dhcp server?

Was it set up correctly?  After it's started, you can check in /netboot
