evince missing library
« on: April 15, 2024, 03:47:17 AM »
I installed the CorePure64 TC 15.0 version of evince, but it failed to start from the desktop. Attempting to start it from a terminal gave the message

evince: error while loading shared libraries: libgnome-desktop-3.so.19: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

A search of the repository found no extension that provides this library.

No rush, I'm now using a different app for pdf's!

Ah - it looks like the update to gnome-desktop broke evince - I'll recompile it, thanks for reporting this.
