I was curious as to how much power the eeepc 900a netbook consumes so I hooked up a current meter to the main ac plug and measured it. Here are the results:
In the off state with battery fully charged - 27.6ma @ 116Vac = 3.2W
Zandros idle high perf speed - 10.78W
Zandros idle power saving speed - 10.05W
Zandros idle power saving speed scrn off - 9.44W
Tinycore idle scrn off (presume high perf speed) 10.15W
Tinycore 4GB SD card inserted
Tinycore idle (presume high perf speed) - 10.87W
Tinycore 85% cpu - 13.34W
Tinycore 100% cpu - 13.69W
