Core-current.iso missing partition table

(1/2) > >>

danto:
I'm trying to flash the tiny core iso image into a usb stick using balena etcher but before actually flashing the image i got an error message saying the iso image doesn't have a partition table, after the error i can continue flashing but when i try to boot the usb stick my device doesn't recognize it. I tried to flash the image into a dvd using dd and then boot and it works perfectly, but from previous experience every time i try to flash an iso image into a usb stick using dd when i try to boot it my device doesn't recognize it and so i have to use balena etcher instead, but as i said early in this case it doesn't work.
I also tried tiny core in vm using the same iso image and it works perfectly.
This is the link where i downloaded the iso from: http://tinycorelinux.net/14.x/x86/release/Core-current.iso
The iso has the right checksum.
Sorry if i didn't expressed myself to the better but i'm not english, hoping for advice thanks :)

patrikg:
What operating system are you using now ??
If Windows, you should try out Rufus.

danto:
I'm using Lubuntu 20.04

curaga:
IIRC the smallest iso is not an isohybrid on purpose because it increases size. The TinyCore and CorePlus isos can be dd'd.

danto:
so what you recomend me to do?
