TinyX and tslib for touch screens

Hi

I am running TinyCore on a simple x86 Single Board Computer (SBC) which is working very well. The SBC has the S3 Savage screen drivers so I managed to get the XSavage TinyX server from the DSL project running. What I need is to get an eGalax USB touch screen working with TinyX and I see that there is a touch screen library called tslib that works with eGalax and TinyX but I need to recompile the TinyX server with touch screen support.

I can't run a full Xorg server, for which there is eGalax drivers, because I only have 128MB RAM to do everything with. I've tried recompiling the 4.6.0 Xfree86 code base into an XSavage Server on Ubuntu but after much effort it still does not compile through. Has anybody tried this and if so does anybody have any suggestions regarding this problem?

- don't use another linux distro for compiling for another. Will cause all kinds of headaches.
- use Xorg-server-1.4.2 or the last 1.3 instead of XFree86, it will make things easier
