Building with readline requires ncurses per pkg-config, so if I'm using ncursesw it fails. If ncursesw is preferred by TC, shouldn't readline.pc require ncursesw instead?

Ah - that might explain some of the weirdness around compiling against ncurses/readline - readline-dev adjusted in x86, x86_64, armv* repos.

Regression in TC 14? I'm seeing this again in 32 and 64 bit.
