for changes (on tinycorelinux.net ) in tcz repo  can be followed by checking the  below url's  on the server

 http://tinycorelinux.net/13.x/x86_64/tcz/updates/updatelist.txt
 http://tinycorelinux.net/14.x/x86_64/tcz/updates/

dose any similar ( "stable" ) method exists for the "base system components"

other than grepping the date from dirs on the server ( likely to  brake , if mirror uses a different server or config ,formatting ect )

other alternative could be to somehow (? grep || ericchiang/pup ?) parse the 'Tiny Core Base' forum  "Child Boards"

 Alpha Releases - http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/board,33.0.html
 Release Candidate Testing - http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/board,22.0.html

 Final Releases - http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/board,31.0.html

 for final release
 there all ready exists
 http://tinycorelinux.net/latest

parsing the forum seams over kill  , which requires removing many layers of markup formatting to get to the relevant info

something more akin to updatelist.txt  perhaps base-updates.txt seams more applicable
where base-updates.txt like updatelist contains a log of base updates history
giving a 'change log' like overview
  ???
 @* thoughts ?

The front page has short news for the base releases, long ones are in the forums you linked.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
