« on: April 12, 2022, 12:51:11 PM »
Hello friends,
forgive me for bad english
i need a big help,
and to solve, I need very Linux / Tiny experts

I have to install or boot in live via grub4dos, the operating system on some computers in an office that work with management software created mainly with java.

I need to create an ISO of Tiny, which is minimal,
that:
1) read and write on NTFS and EXFAT partition, include command line utility to partition disk in EXT4, and checkup on NTFS / fat32
2) start in console, and go to graphics by typing Startx
3) must include JAVA (JDK), PYTHON and GCC / binutils etc.
4) can add QB64, FreeBasic, B4X (only B4J and B4A), Free Pascal / lazarus
5) include File Manager which runs from console
6) in graphical mode it should include Firefox, File Manager, NOTEPAD ++, RAR and 7zip Manager, DOSBOX, smplayer, and similar program to teamviewer / anydesk
7) include network and wiifi driver
8 ) include package manager

italian keybord layout,

is better DOSBOX or DOSEMU?

what is the desktop env. lighter with cute graphics?

please help me

thank you

hey gadget42, you did a good investigation job.
OMG, so 8+ years (from Oct-Dec.2013 until Apr.2022) passed and casey did not learn tinycore?
back of the envelope math: 365 days/year x 8 years x 0.01 usd/day =~30$. I can bet that someone could grab this donation on 30$ silver coins for a job of few hours.

hi,
I didn't remember those old posts,

I am a technician, but I am not an expert in the linux world,
I deal with hardware.

at the time you can see that I was unable to create what I wanted, so I came back here.

I ask you a question,

how do i open the image that contains tiny linux (not the ISO, but the image contained along with the kernel)
and add me in for example Free Pascal?
how do i find free pascal packages and figure out which ones to add to ondemand.lst?

thank you

The Wiki covers remastering quite thoroughly.
As I said before, try ezremaster.
It is not rocket science,
Read the wiki until you understand how core works.

however some what paradoxicly ,...
the wiki might not be 404 but it is *under construction* and *out of order*
 :(

... vairous threds exist where this situation is explained in varing levles of detail to bemused tc fanz
