Hello F,
Can anybody explain seeming random "polling" of drives
DVD for no apparent reason?........
There isn't any access requested. or anything?
It's some autonomous OS service Running?
Thx.
C.

Maybe some udev re-triggering rules? Or else, what phantom do you think has its nest in OS? ["America first"] Intel/AMD own OS inside "your" CPU or "your" (un)trusted UEFI firmware also. Linux is just the puppy / marionette of them.

Hi nick65go
According to the threads subject, vinceASPECT appears to be asking about
Microsoft
. He probably did not know
how to spell that, so that's why it may have been unclear.
