With dcore and sce's loaded from the same usb drive, is there a way to safe unmount the usb after a bootup?

Hi amucted, linux is smart enough, the shutdown command brings the system down in a secure way. If your dcore is in hard drive, you can unmount usb flash safely, here:

If copy2fs works in dCore you will be able to unmount the usb stick.

If the SCEs are in /tmp/builtin, then the SCEs themselves are loaded to RAM and are no longer located on the usb.  In this case, the usb can be unmounted.

Currently I default load them to /tmp/loop. Where do I read about /tmp/builtin ? The search on linuxsecrets doesn't work for me for some reason

/tmp/builtin is the same for dCore as it is for Core.  The below link may help.
