Thanks for the reply, so what has happened since
1. I realised the CorePlus ISO was only for installing TCL !
so, I burned the ISO to a USB stick, booted and then used the desktop installer to try and install on the the ZIP disk. This, however, proved unsucessfull as the installer "hung" at partitioning, formating and did not proceed further
2. Installed parted onto the USB and then partitioned the ZIP disk and then;
umount -l /mnt/dev/sdc1
mkfs -t ext4 /dev/sda1
Then back to desktop installer and installed the 64bit version without partitioning and formatting! The ZIP disk successfully booted to the command line where I then installed the packages
tce-load -wi Xvesa flwm aterm wbar
But Xvesa fails
Xvesa.tcz.md5.txt not found
I also tried Xorg but that gives a similar message to Xvesa
So successfull installation of TCL core but unable to load flwm. Is this a repository problem ? or do I need specific versions of Xvesa/Xorg ?
Thanks
