Which version and architecture of tinycore are you using?
What error messages do you get?

I had Tiny Core plus 12 and I had installed the new modules of alsa
the error is
**WARNING**: oss_open(): Failed to open audio device (/dev/dsp): no such file of directory
PS.: with the core plus 11.1 alsa work great
thank you

What are you trying to do when you get that error - it looks as if your application is trying to use oss rather than alsa?

By default xmms uses oss - you need to use <ctrl p> to set the output to alsa.
