OpenSSH / sshd won't allow sessions in release 12

Hi,

I've just upgraded a VM from Tinycorelinux Corepure64 release 11 to release 12. After upgrade, I can't login using via ssh. I have checked my config file (which didn't change), checked the firewall (which didn't change) and did a lot of testing and logging, but I can't find the problem. Below the debug log from sshd release 11 (which works fine) and release 12. I've only cut out the part where I see differences, to save on text:

The behavior I see is that release 12 won't even let me enter my password. I immediately receive a "Connection closed" mesages on the client. In the server log, I see this "debug3: user_specific_delay: user specific delay 0.000ms [preauth]" message, but I have no clue what that means and if it is significant.

I hope someone can help out. If there is a successful setup for sshd in release 12, then please let me know including the configuration; I can then compare it to my setup.

I see in the package repository that openssh was updated from 8.1p1 to 8.4p1. I upgraded to the new package and that solved my issue.
