NASA/JPL helicopter running Linux

PDP-8:
Interesting - the recent mission to Mars includes a small helicopter that will fly pre-determined paths.  JPL's own software running under Linux is in control.  Check the last paragraph.

I believe Perserverence herself runs on VxWorks, but the copter and EDL cameras are Linux:
