Brings back memories of my favorite text editor: VDE.

The latest (which runs in freedos naturally) is *still* available!

Which recently got updated!  Originally starting from CP/M and graduating to DOS, it brings back my thoughts now and then.

When I saw the "JOE" editor in *nix, I felt right at home, albeit VDE is all assembly and fast.  Column edit block/move blew my mind with VDE.

Ah, man - the days of for about $3000, you could have a maxxed-out CP/M box with 64K.  5 mB hard drives that cost a couple grand..  :)

Ran the VDE editor on a slightly earlier floppy-only version of this:

Ah, bloat is all relative. :)
