display error
« on: January 27, 2021, 08:45:40 AM »
Hi!
When i try to run tiny core or core plus as live usb or from hard drive as installed Os, i have strange, colored stripes on the black screen (link to picture: https://imgur.com/fmKfWUP).

I tried to boot other computer from my bootable usb drive with core plus and i have desktop and windows on it.

I think my computer just can't display desktop correctly :(

I just only can see console when the os is starting :/

I'm waiting for help. Thanks.

PS. i have Arch Linux on my computer with xfce and it's working fine.

Hi, I just come across this topic.

Does you PC glitch like that without any storage on it ?

Booting a motherboard without disks would lead to BIOS/UEFI menu.

If that's the case, you'll need a new computer, your graphic is dead.

If not, does other OS run without trouble on that machine ?

If the machine is fine, then you could try adding graphics-KERNEL to your onboot.lst
