warranty finish (telco devices)
« on: December 27, 2020, 11:28:38 AM »
Hello forum,

.......do any members happen to know how any.... "global google android device"
can be put into a "don't take further changes" to itself  (state),

(it's OS and APPS)

something similar maybe to "safe mode"?.........

protected mode?.......

many thanks.  (....could it be some low level recover(y) mode?)

meaning, it's not needed to "recover" ....rather, it's a need to prevent it
going into any state where it would need to actually "recover".

(an existing ---"no changes accepted" operating state) is required

perhaps, there is a mechanism.....where upon a power off and restart, the device
revert(s) to a static "snapshot" point (state)..........so dumping previuos user activity of usability upon power off and power returning for the active device.

many thanks

Hello forum,

Okay, solved this OP upon thinking.

The OP answer is just "any" of many "launchers" for the android touch phone interaction *interface"
that obfuscate the device.

There are many launchers that don't reveal aspects of the device. Familiarity will likely see device users that simply just use "as is"....... the device.

These launcher interfaces are free & designed specifically for non-holistic interacting. Just one dimensional User focused.  ("as is"----device)

"Text launcher" is such or "ap15" ....and one "hides" any pathways to system underlying's  (settings)
 (non required app interacting)......"play store"

1) minimalistic obfuscating Launchers.

https://play.google.com/store/search?q=text%20launcher&c=a

2) also pinning an app to the screen......screen can't CHANGE at all....without the PIN CODE to  unpin
(any droid above ver 5.0)

Human Computer Interface  (design)  HCI

thx

Vin

Hello forum,

i believe Google is always trying to obfuscate so that a users experience is more streamlined.

..... some of technology fails .......and that is making some technicians lives need to be dedicated.

They must repair higher level platforms so that the underlying users get a service.

.....it is exemplified when "languages" enter the interface picture.....
Google is really trying to help with that....

thx
