piCore Extension request - usb_modeswitch

Please forgive me if this has been moved to another package but it would be useful to have this utility for armv6.

It was available for earlier versions.

Have you tried the extension from old versions?  If it works, we can copy it over to 12.x.

I cannot find any in the older armv6 versions, just the usb-modeswitch-data package:

tinycorelinux.net/6.x/armv6/tcz/usb-modeswitch-data.tcz

I don't see it either.  Not sure why just the data would be there.   Have you tried to build it yourself?

Yes and it builds fine for me once I've installed the various build requirements.

Thanks Rich, I wont be doing this as I've now realized that my 3G USB modems are not working due to low power from the Pi Zero port.

I've also realised that Raspberry Pi OS now offers overlayfs and a read-only fs which is the main reason I was choosing PiCore. However its an excellent little OS so congratulations on the work done so far and to these helpful forums.
