Tinycore Release Version Question

hello,

i am using tinycorelinux 11.1beta1 but /etc/os-release shows:

VERSION="11.0"
ID=tinycore
VERSION_ID=11.0
PRETTY_NAME="TinyCoreLinux 11.0"
ANSI_COLOR="0;34"
CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:tinycore:tinycore_linux:11.0"
HOME_URL="http://tinycorelinux.net/"
SUPPORT_URL="http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/"
BUG_REPORT_URL="http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/"

Why is there not the correct Version shown as like: VERSION="11.1beta1"
The problem is, that i have some virtual tinycore machines running and now i dont know if the real version is 11.0 or 11.1
