Do you think the 64 bit TCL could run the 64 bit "Appimage file" of Kodi
media player?

https://osmc.tv/download/     (low down there)  it must be AMD chip

could it?

AppImages generally work quite well in 64-bit TCL after running these commands:

$ sudo ln -s /usr/local/etc/fonts /etc/fonts
$ sudo ln -s /usr/local/etc/ssl /etc/ssl
$ sudo ln -s /lib /lib64
$ tce-load -wi bash
It seems this particular AppImage also needs  pkexec  which is part of the  polkit.tcz  extension, so you also need this:

i believe this KODI "appimage file" for Linux should
execute in LINUX to reveal a running tool that allows
you to create a "bootable image" of
"OSMC ( kodi media player) " for any supported device.
 
 (such as the OSMC supported  "Pi zero" computer device.......)

Then your microSD card takes that resulting  "OSMC image file"
and your "Pi zero computer" will boot up into OSMC  (kodi media player)
(.......boot from that microSD card)

Hi, vinceASPECT. I'd like to help but I'm not sure what your question is. The AppImage format itself is entirely compatible with 64-bit TCL if you run the commands I provided above.

Have you tried creating the bootable OSMC image file in TCL? If so, did you run into some kind of error or other difficulty?
