gnome-terminal missing libtinfo.so.6
« on: October 06, 2020, 04:07:51 PM »
Hi, not sure if its a bug,
I installed gnome-terminal using apps since I was looking for a terminal that would unwrap previously printed wrapped lines, but when I run it on current CorePlus I get:
error while loading shared libraries : libtinfo.so.6: cannot open
I could not find it on apps.

Best Regards!

Hi edgardogho
According to this post:
http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,23919.msg150787.html#msg150787
Juanito addressed that, though I cant tell whether he fixed  ncursesw  or  gnome-terminal  and which architecture(s)
and TC versions were affected.

Come to think of it, you didn't mention which version of TC and architecture you are reporting this for.

OK, but which version?

I was just using gnome-terminal in 11.x and it worked fine.
