MountTool and ntfs-3g
« on: April 01, 2020, 10:06:56 AM »
ihello, i have TC11.0 x86 installed on an USB-stick and installed the package ntfs-3g.tcz to be able to write on ntfs file system.
but when using the MountTool of TC, those ntfs file systems still be mounted as read-only (ro) only. is there a way to mount them as read/write by using MountTool?

Hi beta-tester
You aren't by any chance trying to mount a hibernated Windows partition, are you?

ooops... yes.
damn windows 10 and its default settings for quick start.
normally i disable quick start on windows 10 immediately i finished installation and never use hibernation nor suspend to disk...
but in the specific computer i saw that issue i forgot to disable quick start - that is kind of hibernation.

sorry... my fault.
