How to make jwmThemes+wallpaper tce extension?
« on: July 14, 2009, 10:32:16 AM »
OK, so I asked about this in another post, but figured I should start a new topic.

I am trying to make a theme.tce which will have all my dragon themes/wallpapers, and that will have the ability to load whatever theme from the desktop or at boot time.
see the 3rd and later shots here.

It's easy enough to make a folder named "colors" with my themes/wallpapers inside sub-folders
named black, white, etc

However, as Roberts said, that's alot of backups, each having to have exact same bookmarks, etc

so, I need a workaround, wherein I can make a single tce that will hold all the themes/wallpapers.

This tce/tcz would be loaded at boottime and I need something wherein you could choose which theme/wallpaper combo to have at desktop?

I have no experience at writing anykind of bash script, so would need help with that too.
thanks

Here is how to make an extension for background images.

/background.html][removed due to policy violation]/background.html

You can add any additional folders and files in the process.

Here are more examples.

/printer.html][removed due to policy violation]/printer.html

/dial.html][removed due to policy violation]/dial.html

The last one (dial up modems) explains how to add modifications (your setup) to an existing extension (pppd), and make a new extension containing this. You can then remove the extensions pppd and pppsetup from the tce folder, and use only your new extension. This may be helpful if you want to add changes to an existing extension.
