FireFox Freezes TinyCorePluse in VirtualBox

Just trying out TinyLinux 10.1 in virtualbox 6.0.12. Installed latest firefox but freezes entire system when run, even in safe mode. Doesn't seem to be anyway to find out why it crashes after restart. Any ideas?

I would suggest you try running it on bare metal to see if it's a  virtualbox  issue or if it's just not playing nice with your hardware.

Probably you ran out of RAM.

Thanks for the replies. I gave it 2gb memory and 8gb disk - should be enough for testing, no? I'll find a usb stick and test it bare metal.

Runs fine bare metal. Anything I should look for in virtualbox setup?

There were 1 or 2 reports about Firefox freezing under certain conditions when using fbdev. The fix was to switch to Xorg.

You may try Firefox ESR 52, 60 and 68. If that don't help please write what is your host operating system, what is VirtualBox version, what is TC version and X server inside TC, and Firefox version.
