hello,

i have a problem with *.tinycorelinux.net pages...
when i try to open this webpage with https://... instead of http://..., then i get an error MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT from my browser Firefox 68.6.0-esr.
is it possible to spend the webpage a proper certificate for *.tinycorelinux.net ?

is it for price/cost reason of a certificate "only" or are there other practical reasons?
i think i read somewhere, that at least Firefox will stop supporting http:// pages in the future...

Https means higher cpu load. The files hosted on our server are all public, no need for encryption.

The forum specifically has a self-signed cert for protecting logins on untrusted networks. Having a CA sign it is not any more trustable, and too much trouble for us.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
