I can only find wpa_supplicant-dbus.tcz (not wpa_supplicant.tcz) in the 64-bit repository. Is there currently no way to use wpa_supplicant in TC x86_64 without dbus?

Yes, it doesn’t require dbus to be running to work.

Thank you, juanito. Good to know.
TC (32 bit) already replaced the OS in my router/fileserver/webserver. Now I'm preparing to replace the OS in my 64-bit personal laptop
