Is  desktop.sh  not found or is  desktop.sh  not finding something?  Xlibs.tcz  provides  desktop.sh.

unfortunately i don't know , i had loaded Xorg-7.7  using tce-ab >search >install , and wrote down the error.

Juanito:
This fixes things for me:
--- Code: ---$ sudo ln -s /tmp/tcloop/fontconfig/usr/local/etc/fonts /etc
--- End code ---

Hi mocore

--- Quote ---loading xorg-7.7 with tce-ab
i saw
many error's

/usr/bin/tce-load 147 desktop.sh:not found
--- End quote ---

--- End quote ---
I would call seeing many errors relevant.

Line 147 of  tce-load  does call  desktop.sh.  What do the following commands return:

--- Code: ---ls -l /usr/local/tce.installed/Xlibs
ls -l /usr/bin/desktop.sh
--- End code ---

mocore:

--- Code: ---$ sudo ln -s /tmp/tcloop/fontconfig/usr/local/etc/fonts /etc
--- End code ---
thanks juanito ! that works!!

hi rich
iv found that the desktop.sh errors appear after openbox is loaded if openbox is loaded before xorg

id been trying set things up from memory and had forgotten that the load order can be important ,.. until i was reminded trying to config sound via alsa/hdmi
