install deadbeef?
« on: February 08, 2019, 03:25:54 AM »
Can someone please tell me how to install the deadbeef music player? I have found a reference in this forum to adding a plug-in, but no installation instructions. I can't find it in the repos/Apps. Thanks.

Hello,    Hey I loved deadbeef, but it hasn't been around since tc-4.x

http://tinycorelinux.net/4.x/x86/tcz/deadbeef.tcz.info

Maybe it would work, but looking at the dep .ist I'd guess it would need compiling against tc-10?

Oh! That is disappointing! Do you know of an alternative? I'm looking to play flac (and sometimes mp3). I like deadbeef due to the gapless playback. Thanks.

"Arslan" the previous maintainer hasn't been seen in a long time God bless him wherever he is..

It looks relatively easy to compile, you could try?
