Hi,

id like to compile the TC10.x Kernel on TC9.x x64 but i get this message while i try to compile:

Hi Rich,

 sorry that doesnt helped me.
i trying now the patch for the arch/x86/Makefile from here
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip.git/commit/?id=25896d073d8a0403b07e6dec56f58e6c33678207
and disabled the "CONFIG_RETPOLINE=n"

lets see compiling is now running ... have to wait till its done -

compiling 10.x kernel on a TC 9.x x64 with gcc7.2.0 works now...
