2.2.rc: weired backup directory mixup
« on: July 10, 2009, 11:23:47 AM »
Hi there.
Just installed 2.2rc.

I changed  .filetool.lst and entered a wrong entry

The manual backup failed with a related error message.

I solved the issue, but afterwards running backup fails with,
"Make sure you have a valid backup device."  In the log it says "can't access /mnt/sda1/restorebackup/mydata.tgz

Where does it gets the new directory "restorebackup" from?  ???

My restore directory is and has been /mnt/sda1/restore

Cheers

Did you try setting the backup device/path again?

What's the output of:
`cat /proc/cmdline`
`cat /opt/.backup_device`
`cat /opt/.filetool.lst`

it appears to me sometimes too, just check and correct the line in /opt/.backup_device in order to fit your place
