corepure64.gz tce.installed root:root ?
« on: August 16, 2018, 04:24:23 PM »
Hi,

while i try something i saw that usr/local/tce.installed in the corepure64.gz (9.x) has root:root ownership ? Is not root:staff usually for that folder ?

Code: [Select]
$ zcat corepure64.gz | cpio -i -v -t -m -d > textfile && cat textfile | grep tce.installed
28154 blocks
drwxrwxr-x   2 root     root            0 Feb 26 18:56 usr/local/tce.installed
$ whoami
tc

regards

I just checked by booting "base norestore":
Code: [Select]
$ uname -m
x86_64
$ version
9.0
$ ls -l /usr/local
total 0
drwxrwxr-x    2 root     root            40 Feb 26 16:56 bin/
drwxr-xr-x    3 root     root            60 Feb 26 16:56 lib/
drwxrwxr-x    2 root     staff           40 Feb 26 16:56 tce.installed/
