pppoe client tinycore 8.x

I am trying to establish pppoe client connection on my pi.
I've compiled pppd for tinycore 8.2, however i cannot get it to start due to missing ppp_generic kernel module.
modprobe says it's missing too.
As far as i can see, tinycore 9 for pi doesn't seem to have ppp support either.

Could you please add ppp support for the pi?
I know that x86 has these packages in the repo.

The modules are present within the given archive (4.4.39-piCore+) and on my system (4.4.20-piCore_v7+) are not.

Maybe you could update your version of piCore?
