[Solved] 9X midori missing one dep= icu.tcz
« on: July 10, 2018, 04:33:20 AM »
Hi

just tested midori on 64 bit and got this error

Code: [Select]
midori
midori: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.54: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
tc@box:~$ tce-load -i icu
icu.tcz: OK
tc@box:~$ midori (and now loads)

we appear to have icu61 as a dep but not icu

cheers

icu added to the dep file - thanks

I'll recompile midori against icu61 when I find the time.

In fact the icu dep should be with webkitgtk, which doesn't want to recompile so I'll leave things as they are until a newer version of midori uses a more recent version of webkit.

Hi

icu removed from my dep.....apps updated midori and full reboot

loading and running midori shows no need to load icu

thanks

Moderators ......maybe change subject to just 9X midori ?

thanks

Hi aus9
The title accurately describes the symptoms observed in the first post and is appropriate.
