"Plastic" theme missing application title in pure64 8.2.1?
« on: December 19, 2017, 05:35:24 PM »
Not a big deal, but I noticed that out of the 4 themes you can choose - standard / plastic / gtk+ / gleam, it seems like plastic is missing the application title.

If you collapse a window to the point where it is just a small vertical sliver, you can't tell what the application is before you open it.  It you have many collapsed windows as vertical slivers, it makes it a bit harder to remember just what they are.

You can see the application title with standard, gtk+, and gleam themes when minimized to a ribbon, but not plastic.  Not sure if the plastic theme is designed not to show it?

With the 32-bit versions of TC, where the window title is at the top, and you can only minimize without seeing the window at all, rather than using the option of a rolled-up ribbon, not an issue.

Anyway, this is just a very very small graphical issue I just noticed and does not really affect my love of TC! :)

Are you using gtk1, gtk2 or gtk3?

Which window manager are you using?

He is probably referring to the window style of FLTK.

For example, edit your ~/.Xdefaults
Quote
fltk*scheme: gleam

Restart the X server and you should see the differences with all FLTK programs.

Yes, sorry about that - I was poking around the default FLTK options with the recent CorePure64 8.2.1, and noticed this small oddity.  Ordinarily I use gleam, but decided on a change of pace with plastic, and this very small issue popped up.
