Language translations now possible!
To fix things, you will either need to reboot or, if /etc/sysconfig/Xserver=Xvesa, exit to the prompt using the exit icon and "startx"
How did you generate it in the first place ?

Xlibs in onboot.lst turned out to be a problem.After deleting it from there all runs smooth now.On first reboot the resolution choice has appeared and now I can change it any time i want it from the ControlPanel on both computers.How Xlibs got in there is a little mysterious for me as I've never messed up with the system settings except installing some apps.Anyway, thanks for your help guys.
