Team Tiny Core is pleased to announce the immediate availability of piCore-9.0 All major components updated to latest upstream version:

* Kernel 4.9.22
* glibc 2.25
* gcc 7.1.0
* e2fsprogs 1.43.4
* util-linux 2.29.2
* BusyBox  1.26.2
* MicroPython 1.8.7-700

BusyBox i2C tools removed from the base due to bugs.

BusyBox applets set revised, unneded like rpm or floppy tools dropped, others like lsub or fat partition formatting added. Check BusyBox itself for more info.

Extensions are compatible with 8.x release.

There is only one SD card image, it supports all RPi boards, including CM3 and Zero W.

Please read README and don't forget to expand mmcblk0p2 partition according to your needs to make room for persistent data and installed applications.

I cannot find kernel sources and modules under http://tinycorelinux.net/9.x/armv7/releases/RPi/src/kernel/ (the directory is empty). Could you please fix that?

I would like to contribute or help. i am used to linuxfromscratch so i could run a compiler. Now i am new to raspberrypi. Maybe i could do something useful to the project.

Is there a build stack or some kind of build enviroment or something like that, someone could use to contribute?
