dCore-google-chrome-stable-installer
« on: September 13, 2016, 03:57:16 AM »
dCore-google-chrome-stable-installer does not work, web changes too fast. Download link does not appear accurate and manual download attempt from https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html requires selecting a Terms of Service agreement.

Don't use Chrome and don't 64-bit compute, just working on wiki dCore commands and investigated. If someone wants Chrome and is able to fix that would be great. The install script may need to be modified like dCore-java-installer, which requires user to manually download from website then run install script. Just reporting, thanks.

The only Linux version of Chrome is now 64 bit, so dCore-google-chrome-stable-installer is broken for now.  When there is a 64 bit dCore, then it would be simple to adjust the script to be like dCore-java-installer requiring a manual download.  So this package is on hold for now.
