Automation for TCL
« on: February 26, 2017, 07:24:15 AM »
*That's not mine lamp, but nobody mentions the lamp...   :-*

Tiny Core Linux should have automation scripts and or GUI frontend for them.

Boiii, i remeber being a windows noobie.Just a simple gui was hard to comprehend. It was really, REALLY hard! :'( :'(
Back when i switched to TCL two years ago, i had been struggling under the same problems.
Now, i think it's time to HELP noobs in hard time! I know some of you will think it's dumbing-down to leave a user without good-ol console, but, if you remember yourself in those similar situations, you would probably agree, you more than ever need help.
I think users should choose, whether to type in console to bring what they need or to use fine lightweight GUIs. This would perhaps bring some portion of new people in to enjoy TC!

Any suggestions on a technical side?
Any additional ideas for automation?

I only have an idea, but not an implementation. I will try stormly to find solutions.

Hi Fungajong
Tiny Core Linux should have automation scripts and or GUI frontend for them.
What do you think needs automation and or a GUI front end?
