* Moved virtual hard drive to support persistent home on a virtual hard drive.
* Deleted memdisk and mbr.bin as they are avilable in extensions.
* Moved more X related files into Xlibs.core.tgz and Xprogrs.core.tgz for a smaller microcore.gz
Note: The following core elements have been updated:
Xlibs.core.tczl
Xprogs.core.tczl
alu:
TC2rc2: Xlibs and Xprogs don't load on a fat32 file system
alu:
sorry for my last 'telegraphic' post: i have downloaded microcore 2.rc2 with the updated Xlibs and Xprogs extensions but when i boot microcore, it says that it wants me to specify the file system (which is fat32 on a usb stick) in order to be able to load Xlibs and Xprogs, which consequently don't load (no startx, i am landing at the prompt).
Juanito:
What boot codes are you using (for example, I use "text" to deliberately not start x)?
Could you use the boot code "pause" to post the exact start-up messages you get?
alu:
my boot line: microcore tce=sda1/Tc-2/tce norestore swapfile nodhcp waitusb=7
Xlibs.core mount: you must specify the filesystem type
Xprogs.core mount: you must specify the filesystem type
Xlibs.core and Xprogs.core are in my tce directory as Xvesa.core and other apps which loads without difficulty.
