wifi not working
« on: September 08, 2016, 06:30:32 AM »
Hi
I'm trying a pc with BCM43142 and I found
http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,18661.msg114219.html#msg114219
I see that wl-modules-4.2.9 is missing on the repo.
Thanks

wl-modules-4.2.9-tinycore added to the dCore prebuilt repo.  Please install and test.

What is your output of lsmod?  Does cfg80211 appear to be loaded as well and used by wl?

Also, is the ssb module loaded?  It needs to be blacklisted for wl to work.

when I had hardware that required wl, the only sure way to get it to work was to blacklist the bcma, ssb and b43 modules so they never loaded in the first place.
