New tool sce2gz, to create a .gz initrd out of SCE extensions.  Specify the extension on the command line or use the select menu, works much like sce-load and multiple SCEs can be chosen to create one .gz. 

To install:

sce-import sce2gz

On default TinyCore I use xorg.gz containing about 80 extensions (Xorg-7.7 + deps) which speeds up boot time by a several seconds since there don't need to be created as many loop devices. Consumes a bit more RAM though.

Edit: Oh, yes. Also to have ntfs-3g available in case one boots off of a NTFS partition and needs write access.

Now sce.dep files in the SCE directory are used so the total SCE is made into a .gz when there is a sce.dep file.
