Where is the source of wbar?
« on: October 24, 2012, 04:13:28 PM »
I do not find the source code and patches of current wbar at ibiblio. Is it available there?

Thanks, but these files are dated on february 2010 while latest version is dated on August 2012 according to wbar.info with patches in between.

The latest date is because of the fltk support programs in the extension, however I do see a later version. I will see about getting it posted publically.

Posted at ftp://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/4.x/x86/tcz/src/wbar, thanks for the reminder.

Is it really the source of current WBAR extension? It requires gtk2/glade

http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/2.x/tce/src/wbar/

Tried to compile 1.3.3 above on both Raspbian and piCore, result is the same:

I would appreciate to have the actual source and patch set as practically only WBAR is missing to have TC on piCore, all others are working fine.

Yes, you have to configure it with the included wbarconf disabled. Only the config app needs gtk2.

Thanks. At the moment I'm fine with the old 1.3.3 which works in piCore.

Thanks. At the moment I'm fine with the old 1.3.3 which works in piCore.

I have also successfully compiled wbar 1.3.3 and it works with piCore 8.0 beta
I notice that my compilation only yields a single binary executable usr/local/bin/wbar, and a bunch of png files
comparing with wbar.tcz.list from armv6's piCore v7 or v5:
usr/local/bin/tc-wbarconf
usr/local/bin/wbar
usr/local/bin/wbar.sh
usr/local/bin/wbar_mv_icon
usr/local/bin/wbar_parseConf
usr/local/bin/wbar_rm_icon
usr/local/bin/wbar_setup.sh
usr/local/bin/wbar_update.sh
usr/local/share/applications/tinycore-tc-wbarconf.desktop
usr/local/share/wbar/dot.wbar
usr/local/share/wbar/osxbarback.png
usr/local/tce.installed/wbar

where did the tc-wbarconf binary compiled from?

Thanks.
