CUPS remote administration in browser?
« on: June 17, 2009, 02:08:53 AM »
I'm using TCL2.0 as a home file/print/web server.
If I'm on another machine and point my web browser to  <IP address>:631 I get the CUPS web page but if I click on the 'Administration' tab I get a '403 Forbidden' message.
Can I administer CUPS from another machine on my LAN using the web interface?

Maybe - this might be a question of changing something in cupsd.conf...

If you use the browser interface on the local machine, the help files are in the extension and might provide some clues?

Thanks.
I saw that I needed to add a line to my <Location>s that says 'Allow @LOCAL' in each one.
That fixed it.
