boot message: password for tc changed by root
« on: May 09, 2016, 06:35:34 PM »
Didn't notice this before recent RC updates. Maybe i just missed it, during boot:
Code: [Select]
Adding user tc
Password for tc changed by root

Just reporting but also curious. Why tc user being 'added', isn't it default? Regarding password change comment, i didn't initiate password change and just use default tc without password? Thanks.

The current RC adds user tc or the user chosen at the boot command prompt.  But the latest changes seem to prevent usb icons from appearing on the E20 desktop.  Waiting to hear back from JLS if reverting the changes fixes it.   If so, we will be reverting the changes in user and uid behavior.
