aircrack package doesn't contain airmon

Hi,

Just found out that the aircrack-ng.tcz doesn't contain the airmon executable which is needed to put the wifi card in monitoring mode.
Is there an update scheduled? Who is the maintainer of this extension?

If you check the  aircrack-ng.tcz.info  file you'll see the maintainer is bmarkus.

It works now.

I had to also install ethtool and usbutils   (for lsusb)

Hi again,


tried updating on a few other installs but  tce-update fails (reproducible on several pi's) with the following error:

error: Could not verify libnl1.tcz

Any ideas?

Is it possible you are missing the  libnl1.tcz.md5.txt  file in your  tce/optional/  directory?

Hi Rich,

actually removing all libnl1* solved the issue
i think it got removed from the repository (it's now libnl that's being referred to and used i assume)
