I add an application under Wbar-config and if I reload it its there, but when I reboot, or exit to prompt and restart X its gone.

I've done the backup when I reboot.

What's wrong?

Hi kevin

There are several ways to install and load extensions/applications, try using
Apps > Maintenance > Onboot / Ondemand  Maintenance
tce-load -i extension_name
tce-ab

If loaded via "Onboot" then the icon will appear on reboot
if loaded via "Ondemand" then the icon will appear when loaded

wbar Icons are dynamic, try not to manipulate them .
Use wbar-config to remove icons from displaying (not to add them).
Also use wbar-config to change wbar appearance but nothing more..

Additionally, it helps to have persistent storage

Just to clarify:

There are several ways to install and load extensions/applications, try using
Apps > Maintenance > Onboot / Ondemand  Maintenance
or from a terminal:

--- Code: ---tce-load -i extension_name
--- End code ---
or:

--- Code: ---tce-ab
--- End code ---
