adobe-flashplugin needs directory being set up
« on: December 25, 2015, 06:14:09 PM »
As explained in the thread adobe-flashplugin.sce installed, but do not work?, the directory '/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/' needs to exist for the extension to work.
Would http://tinycorelinux.net/dCore/import/firefox-data.tar.gz be the appropriate place for having it created?

Hi
I use adobe-flash-properties-gtk which creates /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
look in the postinst script.

Not working here; I just tried it on dCore-trusty. The extension does start and creates a functional menu entry however it does not create that directory and there is no Flash in Firefox.

Strangely enough I do not see either any postinst script nor any matching one under '/usr/local/tce.installed/' for that matter. Is it different for you?

always the tce.installed script lauches the postinst script:

Code: [Select]
jls@box:/tmp/tcloop/adobe-flash-properties-gtk/usr/local/tce.installed$ cat adob
e-flashplugin
/usr/local/postinst/adobe-flashplugin configure
jls@box:/tmp/tcloop/adobe-flash-properties-gtk/usr/local/postinst$ cat adobe-flashplugin
#!/bin/sh
# postinst script for adobe-flashplugin
#
# see: dh_installdeb(1)

set -e

# summary of how this script can be called:
# * <postinst> `configure' <most-recently-configured-version>
# * <old-postinst> `abort-upgrade' <new version>
# * <conflictor's-postinst> `abort-remove' `in-favour' <package>
#   <new-version>
