dCore Import Debian Packages to Mountable SCE extensions > dCore X86
FAQ
Jason W:
dCore began with the Allwinner A10 architecture. It was ported to x86, which is where most of the development and testing occurs which then benefits A10. It can be ported to 64 bit, but currently the restraint is time and hardware resources at least on my part.

Thanks, FAQ updated. Curious, dCore *should* still work on a 64-bit system, just wouldn't be able to utilize >4gb RAM (my limited understanding)?
Jason W:
Should surely work 100% of the time, just with out the 4+gb RAM usage if it is there as you noted, as well the memory and processor difference in 32 vs 64 bit apps - more memory usage but faster performance for 64 bit I have heard. That is my understanding, and anyone correct me if I am wrong. My laptop is 64 bit but I have only used 32 bit *Core distros on it.

Thanks for that very important detail. If you're using dCore on a 64-bit system, good enough, will update FAQ. Too lazy to start new thread, version -c and version -r recognized and downloaded new date stamp dCore files today.
